I stopped mid-day and enjoyed a movie with my friends. They recommend you don't study this day but I reviewed my notes from UWORLD and watched videos I still wasn't sure about. I didn't do any more practice questions this day or on test day. Saunders book/ Simplenursing I just used this book and the videos to brush up on any concepts I needed to clear up I was considering moving my test back a week but I am glad I didn't! I took two practice tests the first very likely to pass and the second borderline. I would do the 75qs, take a break, then review it all. Two weeks before my test I was practicing 75 q's at a time. I had questions on my NCLEX that were similar and without doing UWORLD there's no way I would've known the answer. I felt that the knowledge provided in the rationales was very helpful to review concepts that were lacking. My stats are 60% correct with 1248 q's done or 57%. I had uworld since the fall because I struggled with OB but started writing all rationales when I began studying for the nclex in May. Uworld was very helpful!! The layout is the same as the actual NCLEX so that helped with anxiety. If you are short on time I recommend priority and lab values at a minimum. I really liked his test-taking concepts and for my test personally, the priority lecture, lab values, acid bases, maternity, and psych questions were applicable.

I probably sat down for a full day or 12 hours to write out notes while listening as well and I tried my best to scan all the notes a few times to go over my weak points. For some of the study time except for the last week going into it, I also had TV on in the background so it could be considered passive studying. I went on vacation and realistically studied what I posted below.
I said I would study 20hrs a week LOL that did not happen but it was nice to have a plan on paper. I made a study guide which I poorly followed to review the weakest scores on my final hesi. I had some technical issues that day which I think negatively affected my score. At the end of each semester, I just took the HESI without really studying because I was so burnt out but always passed with a grade 850+, except for PEDS. For some background information, I attended an ADN program and was a solid B student. Long time creeper, first time posting! Like many, I was freaking out over the NCLEX so I just wanted to share my personal experience to tell you that YOU CAN DO IT.
